Course description:

The Office of Government Ethics establishes standards of ethical conduct for employees in the executive branch of the federal government. These standards were covered in more detail in course 2.2 Ethical Conduct for Executive Branch Employees. This course focuses on standards relating to gifts and activities of federal employees. Knowledge of these standards is essential for those employed in the executive branch, important for those serving as contractors, and helpful for those working in state and local government.

Course format:

The course includes video lectures, reference material, examples, knowledge checks, and a final assessment (exam). A score of 70% on the final assessment is required to earn 2 CPE hours.

Online access is required to view this course, and videos may not be downloaded. Access to this course will expire 90 days from the date of purchase or if the final assessment is taken three times.
